sk-or-v1- followed by 64 lowercase hexadecimal characters (73 characters), per OpenRouter's secret-format documentation.
Registry detector openrouter-api-key since redact-secret#727 (registry pinned at dad7868); graduated from a Beta.8 arrival family (#208, research #220), contract in benchmarks/lib/beta8/208.ts. Management keys (sk-or-mgmt-) are openrouter:management-api-key, not members of this family. The public key hash has the same 64-hex body shape without the prefix.
